• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I just picked up on the local CL a '73 LPC. It is all stock, in good condition, has all original parts/pickups etc but has a well repaired headstock break. :yah I paid 1K for it and I feel like I got a very good deal. What would a guitar like this be worth? I checked ebay and the prices are all over the board. I don't plan on selling the guitar but need to add it to my insurance policy. Thanks in advance.

On a scale of one to ten, I'd say I hate you.

These days that's about right for a headstock repaired guitar.

I just got one for 1200.00 in white.

Should it have waffle backs? There are gold Grover's on it now that look as old as the guitar.

Some had factory Grovers with bigger tulip knobs inbetween late 73/early 74. If its all stock, it could be worth 1500-2000 $.

But we cant be sure without :photos

I paid $875 for my 1972 Custom Fretless Wonder.

Back in 1990 LOL!

Couldn't stand the low frets so I sold it not much later. Still miss it, still hate the low frets.
