Does anybody know where I can get an original 1975 gold plated tailpiece for this guitar?

is there something special about this or do you just want to know its the same year?-i have a 76 custom - and i don think theres any detectable difference between old and new except the quality of the finish-old gold ones tend to lose the gold-

FWIW-pigtail makes a great super light wieght tail piece, which are available in gold- and which i installed on my 76 and which is IMHO tonally superior-youd get almost the same by a tone pros light wiehgt tail peice also-presume theyre available in gold too
