Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
this '68 ES-345 app. has both a 2-piece top and back - never seen this before.... how common/rare was this ? any significance regarding value ?
thanks !
There are many 1960s ES-345s with two-piece tops or two-piece backs. Not sure that I can specifically recall seeing one myself that had both features, but I would guess there are probably a bunch out there that were done like that.... . . . . . . .
Pretty guittar. I've had 3x5's with two piece tops and two piece backs but never both on the same guitar. I'm sure it happened on occassion. As far as value t may put off a few buyers but shouldn't hurt too bad if any. Not a terribly expensive guitar to start with.
