I know that it was suggested that I pull out the tims before selling this guitar...I really hope to not do that---the tims are PERFECT in this thing. This lester weighs in at 8 lbs 7 oz.(under 8.5 lbs.). It's the lightest lp that I've ever picked up. The tims are double-whites with aged covers. The hardware has aged nicely, and the guitar has its share of superficial marks that are hard to photograph. I think that most of them would likely buff out if the new owner wanted them gone. The capo left a mark at the 2nd fret. This one would probably buff out, too, but I'm not an expert...the finish wore off on the bottom edge of the back. It's a small area in width, but it runs 4-5 inches in length. I'm not sure whether or not a finish can be patched.
Plays and sounds so good...I just prefer p90's it seems. I'm going to sell this guitar and look for the right jr or special. Oh, I should mention: the entire guitar vibrates when it's played. This is a seriously resonant guitar. I have a few pics, and I hope to have more tomorrow. Email if you're interested.
Price is $3800 shipped & paypalled. I'm only interested in trades involving vintage gibsons...like I said, I'm hoping to end up with the right vintage p90 guitar.
