2015 Sprint Run production numbers according to Gibson

I have a really nice 2015 Sprint Run guitar. I always hear people say "there are only 500 of these ever made" etc... so I wrote Gibson to see how many were made. Here is their response.

Thanks for contacting Gibson Brands! This was not limited to any specific number. As the factories do not release production numbers for guitars unless there was a predetermined and publicly announced production limit, we do not have totals available for this.

Surprising how many ways Gibson says "We are not going to tell you". My research told me if back when it was new, and an authorized Gibson dealer advertised a model as "one of xxxx", that is most likely accurate. Problem also contrary to your answer, even publically announced and prederminded, they still won't give you the numbers!
