I just purchased a 2019 Les Paul studio new I have had it about 3 weeks now and I just noticed that when I'm on the neck or bridge pickup the wrong set of volume and tone controls work for each one. In other words if the toggle switch is all the way down on the"treble" pickup selection the top or closest to bridge volume and tone work for it and if on the"rhythm" bridge pickup the bottom set volume tone controls work. Is this something they do on studios? Or are doing now? My sg special isn't this way and it's from the same year. Love the forum.

Sounds like the pickups might be plugged into the wrong sockets on the printed circuit board (if so the pickups themselves will also be the wrong way round - i.e. when the switch is in the treble position it will actually be the neck pickup that is selected). If this is the case it's a simple job to swap them round, just unplug the wires where they connect to the circuit board and swap them over.

That is exactly the case. The bridge pickup (treble) is on when toggle is on bridge Pickup (rhythm). And that was my next question if it was a simple fix with the circuit board. Much appreciated my friend.
