Say it loud, say it proud... you AZZ. :ROFLMAO:

Congrats on that STUNNER.

Details on specs please...
Dave said he picked out the tops last year. Uncovered Custombuckers, one double white (covers are in the case). Pickguard not attached. 8.3lbs. Super dark fingerboard. I really didn't need another LP, but after playing it I really liked it.
40 years ago this burst (9 0627) was pictured in Guitar player, and I just loved the maple and faded top. I thought the one I just got reminded me of that one

Thanks all for the compliments. I happened to be there when they came in, so I played a few before they hit the website. This was one of them that I played because it looked so cool. I was kind of surprised it was still there a couple weeks ago, so I played it again through a Tyler Princeton clone and a Marshall Drivemaster, and the thing just rang out and sustained like crazy. My brother played it and said "WOW". Then I had to decide what to cut loose to get it. Before I sealed the deal I played it through the same amp for an hour and a half. It's more than likely this will be the last R9 I'll ever own, so I really wanted one that was exactly what I wanted.

I still have my orig copy of that issue from right after I started playing. I can't fault you for buying the one you did, and I think you're less an arsehole than possibly a toff, but @MarcB might correct me.

Looks a lot like the one I got from Dave’s recently. Must be from the same MTM run. I didn’t get the pickup covers, which I thought was a bit disappointing. Wonder if I should have? But the guitar is great. Congratulations on yours, nice choice!
