• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hello friends - I was a bit hesitant to post this given the illicit effects of GAS syndrome and how it alters normal logic and standard levels of consciousness (I did wait few days to get to know the guitar). But the Murphy Labs are very, very fine Les Pauls. I've had a number of Custom Shop reissues over the years and this one blows them all out of the water. Clear, resonant, articulate, sonically nuanced, etc. - it meets all my criteria. Kudos to Tom Murphy and his team. Sounds better than my Nicky hands down. Gibson Custom is making very nice instruments these days. And the fine weather checking with the Murphy Labs light aged patina ain't bad either.
