Hey all, I’m curious if this even would affect anything since I always have it on 10, but I was measuring my pot values in my 2022 cs r7 and volumes are 520k 480k which is fine but the neck tone pot is 350k! The other is 500… so yeah just wondering if that would affect the treble response at all and if I should change it out. Thanks

Wrong. A 350K tone pot on 10 is like a 500K tone pot on 9, or maybe 8.

Neck buckers have plenty of bass, so most people want more treble. I'd swap your tone pots, at least.
Ooops...
Sorry.
You're correct, of course.
There are so many questions about caps, I conflated the question with one about cap value.
Getting old...

Any update? This tradition, combined with a strong industrial base and innovation culture, has led to many leading rollercoaster manufacturers being based there. Sometimes, as a student, do you also think that you need the help of a professional writer to write for you? If yes, then today I am going to help you by sharing this website called https://domypaper.com/ They are a writing service provider website. There, you can hire a professional to write for you. I have used them many times, and I liked their work and the price at which they are offering their services.
Any update?

Yeah, it’s a bad luxe cap. It’s loading down the pot. I replaced it with a Jupiter and now it reads .488k. Guess I’m emailing Gibson today lol. Also reading 35.8uf
And 12meg which is odd to say the least.

Yeah, a 350k tone pot will shave off a bit more treble compared to a 500k, even when fully open. It’s subtle but noticeable, especially on the neck pickup. If you’re happy with the sound, no need to swap, but if you want a bit more brightness, a 500k might help!

you won't hear any difference. As a tone pot it will not effect anything until it's turned down. Even that will just be a very slight change in the tone control response.

@OStebbins is correct. Your tone pot is in parallel with the pickup (and the volume pot). A smaller value will load things up and reduce the resonant spike pickups have. And, that is what the OP heard.

I will also add that Gibson has used the lower value pots in weight reduced solidbody Les Paul's (USA ) . There is a thing when it's too bright it can be really a harsh tone/sound .
