They're very inconsistent, as far as I know. I've seen a couple of shamrai guitars, they didn't impress me at all. Basicly, like average MIK stuff but with assorted atrocities here and there. Feels quite cheap. I got to play sort of "Signature" model, and man, such a piece of crap. In comparison, something like a Mex Fender feels like a definite upgrade. What they (ShG) try to do is impersonating Custom shop, but they're far, far away from it.
