• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I've just been ageing the nickel bridge on my R9 and in cleaning it afterwards I think I may have dislodged the retainer wire. I have tried pressing it back into the holes on either side but it doesn't quite go all the way in. I can't remember if the wire pushed up snug against the sides of the bridge or whether there was a small amount of the bent ends protruding. Anybody got any pics of their bridge that I can use for comparison?

The wire should go up snug, but just pull it out. Put a little clear nail polish around the saddles to hold them in place and you're good to go.
