Hey all, figured I ask the experts. My 2021 CS R7 ABR1 is slightly magnetic? I couldn’t find anything online about that. I figured brass or the aluminum alloy wouldn’t attract a magnet. It’s not the posts or the thumb wheels. Normal or?

Nickel is ferromagnetic (attracted to magnets and can be magnetized). It's your plating, but since that should be thin, you don't get strong attraction. An ABR-1 is made from zamak, zinc casting alloy, aka pot metal, and that is not magnetic.

Don't forget about the adjustment screws.
Yeah I thought about that but I seem to remember the last time I had the bridge off that the mag didn’t stick to them. And I also thought on a 2021 model they should be brass?
