Aftermarket stop tailpiece replacement for 50s Les paul

Hi guys,

which aftermarket stop tailpiece would you recommend to fit in a 50s goldtop?

I don't really want to chase an original one on ebay, because they're quite expensive. However I understand there might be some effect on the overall sound of the guitar.

Any decent aftermarket replacements that come close?

if it's an abr-1 stoptail then pigtail

if it's a wraptail then mojotone/pigtail

I think the creamtone ones will work good. I use pigtails too, find them a tad too bright

Sorry guys, my bad, I should have been more specific. Stop tailpiece for the ABR-1 bridge.

Edit: by the way, I did use the forum search for this, in case anyone is wondering. And so far the names that resonate more seem to be Creamtone and pigtail. I just want to know in your opinions what's closer to an old 50s stop tailpiece. Could be any brand/make really.

I am sorry to keep bothering you but I'm new here, one question, do you know if the Pigtail guitar parts is still open?? I have seen the website and it looks rather . desolate ?? could never ascertain if the company still exists ?? Thanks
