• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hello my friends. I have played guitar since 1964(The Beatles). I do know a lot about things. Its not gift but a plague. I collected old Les Pauls in the 70,s etc.
How to Age inlay I saw on questions. I have found a great way to age. Of course Shoe Polish(darker preferably), but my trick is using "Old English" furniture polish.
There is two types light(oak), are darker. The Darker is much better. Keep rubbing each one until you get what you want.. It also works on
all parts et; mounting rings, pickguard etc,. It also works on the toggle switch. Purchase whatever pre-colored el-cheapos tips. Put a dab in the cavity
and it gives it a slightly aged look.
Goodluck
