It must be that time of year, IDK. Saw this one the other day and had the salesman hand it to me and even before I strummed it I knew it was the one 335 I've been after for the last decade at least. Made in Nov of 2022 and must have shipped during a cold snap in December on a frozen delivery van and when it arrived to one of it's destinations, we think the a store employee must have opened the case too soon and it caused some minor, but cool lacquer checking here and there, mostly on the back of the neck and front of the headstock. Very minor indeed and if anything, I take it as a bonus!

She's about 8lbs on the nose, has a sweet chunky neck with substantial but well executed shoulders. The edges were rolled perfectly into the fingerboard so it just begs you to play it all day lol. Had it strobe tuned before I left the shop where I bought it and I dialed in the rest of the setup myself. The more I play it and tweek the pickup heights and polepieces the sweeter the tones get. Nashville is making some incredible 335s! Looking at the new ones online at multiple different shops shows that most of the new figured models share some wild and interesting flames and grains. I wonder what the story is on the cool woods they're using?
