I think if it starts with a 75 and pots are dated 75 and the S1 debuted in 1975...
But the 75 serials do not normally appear that way. Certainly the pot dates would be a giveaway, the headstock is a bit odd.

Okay thanks. I just found it odd I have never seen a 70s serial number with the appearance font etc.

Also I've never seen those tuners.I added a picture
I know nought about tuners. My L6 has the oval sticker but oerhqps different models? I use that link for older guitars.

I've never seen that type of serial number decal, ever. I've sold them new back then, handled many, alongside the Marauder, which I liked alot, and I do not recall seeing that. Old age makes memory suspect and I put the Al in allzhymers so maybe brain fart. Still, it doesn't look right. I remember the oval decal with smaller font. Who knows what lead to this odd decal being placed on this guitar? Can't say I've seen machine heads like that but Gibson was moving away from Kluson to metal button Gibson branded types made by Schaller, as well as bridges and tailpiece. Guitar looks legit and as very few survive unmodified, I think it is very cool and interesting early issue.
