I wonder if they'll cal it the Hammie instead of Greenie.I guess Greenie comes with straplocks
Greenie/Moorie/Hammie?I wonder if they'll cal it the Hammie instead of Greenie.
I agree 100%. Prior to the M2M program ( yes you could do a "factory order", but) you were limited to some degree. But now, for example, you dont have to pay $20k for a Duane Allman version 1. Simply spec you guitar as you want it. Instruct your selling dealer to request a top to your specs, the neck profile you want and color. You'll be well under $10k. Use the remaining $ to buy a vintage Marshall stack to complete the look........and still have some bucks to take your woman on a weekend getaway....!!!!!At $50K, count me out. I'll stick with my 2019 Greenie clone.
I agree. At $20k? I’d probably buy one simply because I’d trade in 2 guitars which would offset the amount I need to buy it and I’d probably pay around $5-6k out of pocket for it. But at $50k? With $50 made? That’s just D.U.M.B!I agree 100%. Prior to the M2M program ( yes you could do a "factory order", but) you were limited to some degree. Unless you absolutely, positively have to have that COA that reads _____________(insert the CC model name you want). For me its the look and feel. I don't need any artists name or signature on my guitar
Darn right big time as the only signature guitars I own are Les Paul's .I agree 100%. Prior to the M2M program ( yes you could do a "factory order", but) you were limited to some degree. But most with more money than can chew, why buy imitation, and not the real deal? Kirk didn’t even pay a million for the damn thing. So in essence they could’ve probably bought it for half a mil. A copy? I can’t see this guitar EVER fetching $100k. It’d take 60yrs and a lot of inflation. But you’re right. Daddy left me an inheritance of $50mil and I’m going on stupid spree. I think I’ll buy a copy of a real Les paul made by Gibson for $50K but I DONT know how to play! There are many people out there with more money than they can chew… for them 50k is not a huge deal.
But yeah that is way too much for me
those look pretty sweet! This was posted on Facebook 2days ago. Taken from an instagram post. They look quite nice!
To Gibson the $50k pricetag is worth it for the headlines alone.
And they'll a
Worth it? No! Good for Gibson? Sure! They can redo pearly Gates and sell it for $80k. And all ML R9s will fetch $15-20K and if you can get BRW fingerboards? Auto $30k minimum. Gibby gone make her money! To Gibson the $50k pricetag is worth it for the headlines alone.
And they'll all sell.
