Are studs important for a wraparound bridge?

Hi,
I have a LP junior and I read many good feedbacks about the mojoaxe wraparound bridge. I wonder if the studs play a big role in the sustain of the guitar or if the original ones are good enough.
Thanks!

I have a number of old `50's/`60's studs for Les Paul's, ES's, etc. I think the overall sound of the guitar is better with the older grade steel studs. I swapped out the ones last night on my 2019 LP Special and noticed a nice improvement in thickness of tone. I do believe that whatever grade of steel they were using back then was better that what they use now. Probably since the mid-70's the plating and composition of the steel was different... Of course I'm just guessing now. I'd have to pay serious money to have an old one and a new one ground-up and analyzed.
