Recently the issue of attaching sound files to share on the forum has come up...Last week, one of our members could not find a way to share his mp3 with others on the board, and since I must work during the week, I didn't have time to do it myself.

I have implemented a way to share 1 MB and under sound samples in the Tone Zone now. All you need to do is hit the "Browse" button below your message field, and select the mp3 file on your computer. Submit your message.

PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT "PREVIEW MESSAGE" WHEN SUBMITTING A SOUNDFILE. IT WILL NOT WORK. YOU MUST HIT THE "SUBMIT NEW THREAD" BUTTON.

If your mp3 is over 1 MB, it won't upload!

For those who can't make mp3's, go and get the Musicmatch mp3 player, which will convert your files.

Ed A, I'm going to convert those wav's you sent and try them - just to make sure this works.

Here's a link to go get the Music Match "Basic" (free download) player:

Rich, if you don't have an mp3 player, you should. Go and download it...then you can listen to everyone's music samples...

Hi Lily, with this free download, will I be able to listen to posted sound files? The one's that were previously posted on the paf's that Ed did, after they load and begin to play, it sounded terrible and no continuity, just kept skipping and repeating the same phrase over and over...I didn't want to whine:wah about it, but at this point I thought I'd ask...maybe there's a solution.

And when I take some pic's of a old amp I just got I'll take a few of the "chatterbox" for ya;)
