• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I know some of you, like me, double on this instrument. I have a 6-string and I'm looking for a bass amp that will solidly pump out the fundamental on the B.

Most of even the really good bass amps I've tried will give the E fundamental clean and clear but the B-string notes have no attack and are mostly overtone no matter how I adjust them.

Any ideas on any combo amps (or, failing that, the regular head/cab) that don't cower and whimper when freq's around 30 hz rumble their way?

In the Garden of Eden...

I have an Eden Metro 210 combo, and a Lakland 5594 5string.
I have no problems hearing the Killer B with this rig.
David Eden makes some of the best amps/cabs out there, IMO.
Check them out, and good luck...
Steve
