• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hi
I finally put the ABR back on the guitar after lying in the case for the last 32 years. It needed some work and it may be my imagination but it seems to sound a lot better – can’t tell too much yet though as I also put new strings on.

It came with an Ibanez bridge which lay loosely on the thumbwheels but the ABR snaps tightly into place

It's getting back to original but not keen on black plastics

Not much to tell that isn’t already on this forum. 73 LPC, original T-Tops, pots replaced a few years back for Alpha 500ks and wired 50s style, original ERO caps. 5 piece top and pancake body. Only gets about 2-3 gigs a year but nicely reliced naturally. Schaller tuners put on about ‘84
