I saw this yesterday and meant to post it then.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1662343

He was the first player that I paid attention to in college that I thought was going to be great. I don't watch college ball too often, so he was always my favorite player that I saw the entire career of. Walter was my favorite, but I only saw him for a few years.

Barry is different. But a good guy. I hope the book answers all of the questions so we don't have to wait for the next interview.

Barry was fun to watch, never knew if he was going to loose a yard or two or break open a huge run. It was too bad that Detroit would not cut him loose, but by that point I dont think he had the heart to play the game any more

I will be upset if that was the case. But that's exactly why I want to read the book.

Barry had a remarkable career playing on some pretty mediocre to lousy Lions teams. Just think of what Barry could have done if he played on a good team like the Cowboys back in the day...

He is my favorite RB of all time.

I think Walter was easily the best "Running Back." All-around, the best- running with speed, running with power, recieving (Bearz all-time #1), blocking, and in instincts. Barry, to me was the best runner. Rarely played with a fullback or offensive line. I don't want to say most- because that would be at least half of the time- but MANY times he ran for 5-10-15 yards before he actually gained yardage. And, somehow, as he got older he got faster. Emmitt was great, but c'mon- switch him and Barry to eich others teams? No contest.
