Here's a brand new video from five watt world about Billy Gibbons' 1959 Les Paul Standard Burst. It's serial number is 91170 and is only one of 643 Les Paul Standards shipped out in 1959. This video also explains how his LP was named Pearly Gates for a very good reason.

The interview with Gibbons’ tech, discussing how they EQ all of his stage guitars to sound as close to Pearly was a riot. Most guitarists want their guitars to sound as differently as possible, when they switch between a Les Paul, a Strat, a Tele, etc. Gibbons has all sorts of wild-looking stage guitars — but apparently wants them to all sound the same.
