So, binky's revenge aka KF-50 aka Komet Limited aka Komet Concorde. I was looking at one that was one of the last ones they sent to Ken Fischer that he tubed, biased setup etc. I went to look at it today and found out that it had been retubed etc by someone else recently. Since the person selling had put a substantial premium on the Ken Fischer provenance, I had to back out, even though it's a pretty killer amp.

Ahhh Komet Concorde. Yeh.

So price was jacked up because Mr Fisher had his hands in it at one time, changed the tubes and re-biased. Not sure how much more some one would value that.

Anyway, Komets rock. Great stuff. Those are available. They are not uncommon. Go get one.

I gots it's little bitty bro man! At least it was one of his designs if not made by him. As I understand this is the last he designed. I have been looking at a Songwriter. Damn, they don't come cheap...
