Bizarre old car!

Drivin' down Hwy 55 today and saw this thing. Luckily I had my camera along to snap a couple quick pix. I looks like it is based on an early '60's Corvair wagon, either highly modified or some wierd concept car thing, I have no idea.
Note the steering wheel in the middle of the dash!

That looks like one of the Futura concept cars. Very cool.

Thats a strange one for sure.It kind of looks like two Corvairs joined together.
Theres a fellow that lives near me that has one of those Amphibians.Saw him at the station last week getting gas.He said he was taking it out to the lake for a swim!
I need one of those....get out of work and head straight for the lake!

Remember that Bugs Bunny cartoon that had all of the cars in it? This one looks like it was in that cartoon. I feel uncomfortable looking at it. Imagine the blind spots!

The person that drives this must be HUUUUGE! Or prefers riding with those with eating disorders. Who else would fit in the front with them?
