• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Bought one last night on the recommendation of a couple of pals that run a local music store. I guess it's a small boutique company that makes it called BMF and it doesn't have any other special markings but I was told that it was very vintage Crybaby sounding. I like vintage Crybaby's and I just wanted a better than run of the mill current chinese wah pedal around the house again so I bought it.. This pedal is simply the hands down best wah I've ever owned or played. Shocked I'd never heard of the company before and it's all but impossible to find any feedback about them online so they must be fairly new. IDK but I've owned many crybaby's, vox's, at least three Teese RMCs, a Maestro Boomerang and a Thomas Organ crybaby with TDK inductor (a favorite) and an early Fulltone Clyde. Out of all the non-vintage wahs I probably liked the old Fulltone the best by a smidge. It was studio quiet with minimal hiss or other racket and had a great range and voice. The BMC is similarly about as dead nuts quiet as a wah can be and has this wonderful thick psychedelic character that's just pure 70s porn man! It covers so many famous vintage wah flavors so perfectly and it has even more coolness on tap to deliver. Finally, I've got a wah that doesn't leave me wishing it would have a little more of this or that or wishing it was louder, or not so loud or that it didn't suck tone etc. Like I said there's very limited info about the pedal out there but they're priced very fairly from what I've seen and all I can gather is that BMC has someone wind his special Halo inductors and that's about it. Oh yeah, it comes with an allen wrench which fits an innovative treadle action tightening device at the rear of the pedal behind the axle. This works 10 times better than the old flat blade screw onto leaf spring I've seen on other wahs.
