• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Bob Weir recently said this in an interview:

Hittin' the Note Magazine said:
Concerning the future, Bob says he has no intention of slowing down. "This is what I'm here to do - What great musicians ever retire? As for the Dead, we're just going to play it by ear and see what happens. But RatDog is going to keep on going. It's not like being an athlete, where your career is over by 30. The music keeps me young. I don't feel old at all - except for maybe when I get out of bed in the morning!"

Ain't that the truth! :rofl

Getting old.

You have options.

Your hair thins, but you can use your eyebrows or ear hair for a comb over.

Never could grow a good mustache but now my nose hair gives me THAT option.

And back hair CAN be made to fill in that mullet...

I find that I am more rapidly losing hair, so I've cut it very short, extremely short on the sides, and let the beard grow in a bit. I blame it on the long-Covid.

I am approaching urban hipster status, if not for the paunch. I blame it on the lockdown pizzas.

Good to know that Bob Weir has no sign of slowing down. Jerry Garcia pretty much did the same thing--even though Jerry died way too early in his life, he was still able to play guitar even while battling the health problems that led to his death.

Heaven Help The Fool is a very good solo album by Bob Weir.

My wife and I describe the process of maturing by saying that we still feel like we are twenty-five years old but we are more sore and tired.
