• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Have you seen the prices on used Ecstacys on the BB's and eBay?
Good God, I may have to blow the dust off the old credit card.

I would think right now very few people are prepared to pay top dollar for anything. LOTS of great prices around. Cash is king.

It's curious. I have a Shiva which I love and I was considering right now to buy an XTC but cannot compare them because I'd have to buy blind. How would you compare them?

Looks like we need to ramp up our amp get together plans ??

I will say that having owned a previous 101b, I prefer this in every aspect so far. This is a KILLER amp :salude

Although I'm an old Marshall/Fender guy, a 2003 R8 --> Ecstacy --> Marshall 800 series 4-12 (V30's?) was one of the best setup's I've ever played. IIRC better clean than most amps of this type, somewhat convincing Marshall tones and my personal favorite Hi gain - not as harsh as the VHT's I've played and moves air better than a Triple Rec.

I finally bought a 101B and it is the best amp I have tried so far.
