• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I saw some recent Aerosmith live footage on TV the other day.

Brad was moving the slowest but far and away playing the best. He was peeling off some killer solos.

Is there a voice in the first video saying in the back that this goldtop in 2018 will be 70 years old?? :hmm

Ran into Brad the other day after he picked it up. Honestly... Cleanest dark back Goldtop I've ever seen. :salude

Fun video. I just warmed up for them at a show in Connecticut. Great guys. Brad played a strat all night and Derek had a Paul.

That's pretty incredible - even the pickup covers look to be unmarred.

That guitar obviously spent most of its life in the case.

In the videos at least - the Les Paul Model silkscreen looks a bit faint though. Maybe a little too heavy polishing of the headstock?

I wonder how long Norm had owned it?

Didn't J Gentry have one super clean like that?

That was 8 2795... It was clean , but had some orange peeling(sp?) going on. I owned that example before he bought it.

It came from Solidbody guitar when I got it. Was a clean dark back with a really flamed mahogany back , which was very cool.

Never really bonded with it , traded it + cash for a player 'burst. Sold that too...

Like single pup guitars much more. Have a killer Jr. & Esquire that just slay , IMO,OMMV. :salude
