How interesting! My 1971 B cab (pictured in post #9) had the same small gold Marshall logo on the grill. I have it stored in a box with other guitar bits. I've not seen too many cabs with the small gold logo. Cool!
The T1221s in mine all dated to 4/22/71. It sounds great and works as a natural attenuator for the purple 50-watt. That amp through another 4x12 with reissue Greenbacks needs an attenuator. How interesting! My 1971 B cab (pictured in post #9) had the same small gold Marshall logo on the grill. (Clearly my cab has the checkerboard grill cloth. A Marshall collector/nut dated my cab to mid/late 1971. I forget the features that indicate that date.)
That's when I built mine... GDS kit. I built mine late 2003. Roman Rist built the cab. Was a 2 x 10 then I changed the baffle and put in the 12" 25 Watt greenback. Here's my 2003 / 2004 Gabi Bucataru (Gabriel) 1974 18 watt replica. Swanson cabinet. Heyboar transformers. Gabi was the admin at the 18 watt Forum back then, and I had him build this beauty for me. This was made just before Marshall came out with their 1974x reissue. I added the EC Collins grill cloth later when they came out, and a Celestion 20 watt Heritage G12M when they came out.
