• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I am loving it!
Thanks to Steve at Wildwood for helping me find an
awesome guitar.
Question: How do you get the "Custom" sticker off the
pickguard? It's really on there good.

Hello Mister! I am your new Brown Truck delivery person! Here's your package. Oh, any chance I can come in for a glass of water? It's so hot out there and I'm very sweaty... :)

I be having trouble posting a pic. Thanks for the help.
The damn sticker is really on good. Should I try the
old hair dryer trick? A little heat will soften it up?

Congrats!

Take off the pickguard. Put it on a paper towel and peel it off starting at one end. Any glue that doesn't come off, use a little bit of "Goo Gone". Wash it off with soap and water and dry it with a soft cotton terry towel. Put it back on the guitar and you're good to go!

Should have left the sticker on the pickguard and got a second replacement off Ebay, with the original in the case for the next sale.

I saved the sticker. But this one is a keeper. I have only
sold 2 guitars in the last 18 years. My son gets my
collection when I croak. No reason to sell.
This is my first LP. Of Gibbys, I have had an SG, Flying V,
Melody Maker, and Thunderbird bass. Still have the TBird.
Wish I still had the others too. That and my old '65 Strat,
which was stolen.

That is really a nice color. I gotta tell ya it's damb near perfect match to the originals. I usually don't care for plany's but this guitar is just sweet.
