• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

That’s quite quite a few nicks and chips in/on that particular one for only a 4 year old guitar. I think that explains the price more than anything (as a matter of fact, I think it’s a bit overpriced considering its condition). The minty ones are still going for quite a bit more it seems.
Looks like it’s owner gave it good love in the form of play time. I’ll take a player over a case queen any day. So it’s all relevant from the buyers point of view.

I stupidly sold a CS 2005 TV Jr without doign much research- i sold it for what i needed to make to do the "next" deal. I have a very dominant "regret" gene- but i could have easily sold it for $1000 more than I did and still sold it in a minute. it had an odd swirl on the fretboard in the wood grain i was concerned would make some buyers nose wrinkle.
Oh well- i hope someone is playing the shit out of it at this very moment- it was a great guitar that you could not make go out of tune.

I fail to see any deal on posted example , 58 with a very boring top no mineral flecks shadow flame , that piece of maples on chance of escaping the Custom shop is hitching a ride on a 58 going to Guitar Center , The burst shading looks like some twelve year old did with the help of Bob Ross . If the cracks chips dings what have you was done in a dimly lit basement or the product of I don't give F#%k he's $ 800.00 high . I just sold 4 Gibsons in the past 3 months and 3 amps on FB Ebay I felt very good with the prices other than the 2018 57 Junior with cracks nicks & dings . The Junior had Vintage Inspired Pots , vintage capacitor , Mojo Tone compensated nickel bridge Q pickup all the stock hardware & electronics . The final sale price on posted guitar example has very little to do with soft market IMO the market for used is strong .okj

"I need you badly, badly, Madam Librarian...

If I stumbled and I busted my what-you-may-call-it

I could lie on your floor

'Till my body had turned to carrion... "

A guy walks into a dentists office - tells the dentist he is having sexual problems with his Wife. The Dentist tells him he needs a phycologist or a counselor - guy tells the Dentist :

" no - no ..... I need a Dentist - because trying to have sex with my Wife is like pulling teeth "
