• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

BTW, Werner, I like the look of your CC6's headstock with the lighter edges. Has got something authentic to me, but that's just my impression. Nice top carve as well

Sharky,

I agree - that look is cool!

I am also glad there is variance even among a single run of Collector's Choice guitars (aside from woodgrain) - reminds us that these don't come off a production line. Go Gibson Custom Shop!

Sorry, didn´t knew that everyone´s using his real name on this forum:yawn

I know what yer sayin', man :salude .. an' most folks aren't (using their real name).

It's just that, even if I didn't know that it was actually his name (from another thread), I'd have guessed it was, simply 'cause it would seem to be a REALLY odd choice to pick that out of a hat and call yourself that! No? :ganz ... :jim

that's about the grade of the red around the holly veneer my Felder has, the Rossi has mor. Nice, not a flaw, at least not to me.

Who in their right mind would pick an uncool name like Werner? (except my mother!)

But yes, born and raised outside of Düsseldorf, but living the California dream since 1995!

:hee .. Not exactly a fan of my own (Chris); Would rather have liked to have been a "Jackson", or maybe somethin' cool-quasi-hippy, like "Linoleum" or "Chevrolet"! :yah ... Mothers (and fathers!), God love 'em, can truly be from another planet, sometimes! :wah .. :rofl ... :salude

I lived in Dusseldorf in the early 70's. Loved the altstadt. Shit kaufen? Ja!

All my reissues have the white holly showing only from the side, not the front, just like the R6 above. All except my ebony R7, which is all black. It seems Gibson is changing it up a bit these days or is eliminating the white edge all together?
