• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I saw her with Fleetwood Mac, just after PG's departure. Danny and Jeremy were in the band and they did a lot of material off of Kiln House. It was a fantastic show and I thought Christine was a very fine addition. I had seen them in the same venue (the Birmingham Teen Center, just north of Detroit) Green the previous year, that was probably the best rock concert I've ever been too. I have to say, I was disappointed when he wasn't there the following year, really, it was just several months later, IIRC. But it was still an excellent show! I remember Station Man and Jewel Eyed Judy really standing out.

RIP. šŸ˜¢

Wasn't a fan of this iteration of FM, but it's sad nonetheless. R.I.P. Christine.
Yeah, well... The truth is... Without "this iteration", most of the world wouldn't know, or have ever even heard of Fleetwood Mac... I'm just sayin'...

Sad to hear this. She was a talented lady who made good music!

Unfortunately, news like this is going to be fairly common place during the next decade. So many of the great musicians from back in the day are elderly now. :(

Lighten-up Ken. My intention was not to disparage her, or any other member of the band for that matter., it's just my opinion and only mine, which I believe I am entitled to and can express as I see fit. Within the confines of the rules of course.

I completely agree with you, that most would not have known of the band otherwise. I'd go as far as to type that most still don't know that Fleetwood Mac had been around long before.

Again, R.I.P. Christine and my condolences go out to your family and friends.

She was an incredibly talented songwriter with a smooth singing voice. Perfect for '70s soft classic rock music. Not my favorite band or music style, but her talent and appeal was undeniable.
