• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

At least 2 pots are soldered to the print. You need to remove the knobs and the outside nuts from the pots to pull the print out with the pots. There may be a second nut on each pot, inside the cavity, between the shielding can and the wood, holding the pots to the can. In this case, you need to remove the outside nuts holding the switches and pull all the shielding can with the pots and switches attached.

Thanks for your reply. Do I just pull the knobs off? they seem awfully tight on there and I am afraid I might damage something.

If you don't have the experience and don't feel confortable working on an instrument you value, ask someone who is. That's what luthiers and guitar techs are payed for.
