• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I had no idea this model was even coming. I couldn't find anything on the guitar on the Gibson web site and never heard anything about it. Its CC33, a 1960 Les Paul owned by Jeff Hanna from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Even though I couldn't find anything about the guitar on the Gibson site it seems one already shipped abroad. Link is below. I am told the list price $13,174 list price.

....yup, this one clearly stands out from the other two-dozen-or-so $8K scratched and dented Lemonbursts with anemic tops released thus far.

NOTE TO GIBSON CUSTOM: Please go back to making shiny (translation: gloss-finish), unaged Les Paul reissues with: (a) brand-new street prices of under $4K; (b) a regular "plain" plastic back plate for the switch cavity; (c) unaged hardware; and (d) non-preposterous neck thicknesses. Also learn how to spray a proper 1950s cherry sunburst with a decent amount of wideness to the sunburst "ring" around the lower bout, and offer said finish as a standard option on regular Les Paul reissues (i.e., as opposed to only on limited-edition models with $10K price tags). Thanks. :)

Contact your dealer of choice. They are shipping and its just a matter of finding a dealer that ordered one. I know for a fact Huber Breeze Music in Fraser Michigan has one on order cause they told me. If you call there ask for Paul Huber.

Odd that there is no marketing material, or at least that I've seen.

Isn't one of the Gibson Custom Shop reps a member here? Perhaps he can enlighten us with a few details. It seems very little is known about this one.

No dealer gets full price, unless the buyer is a dummy.
