• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Cool P-90 tone from Audley Freed (with the Black Crowes)

Man, he filled some pretty big shoes, and did a killer job of it. Big fan.

Greasy Grass?! That's the native american name for the battle of little big horn. Is that what they are singing about?

Love the format of Jools' show.

Yep, The Greasy Grass Fight! .. Doesn't sound like he's singin' 'bout it. I would guess it's Chris' spiritual bent giving honor to that area/this country's true founders, within a song/title. :hmm .. :jim

Brother is a great album!!! "Gotta Love Me" contains one of my all time favorite solo's. I really dig Audley's style (not so much with the Crowes however). That spot will always remain with Marc Ford...

Has anyone checked out his new band "Big Hat" with Peter Stroud? There's only about 4 tracks but some good guitar playing!

Great album!

Two of my favorite guitarists especially in the new(er) era (since the 70s). Great players. They do a great job in Sheryl Crow's band.
