Correct knobs for 1959 Junior

Hello all,

I got a 1959 Junior a couple of months ago. I LOVE the guitar, but I've noticed that the knobs don't match. It's a little hard to see in the photo, but the numbers on the volume knob are a little bigger than the tone knob. Also, there's a very slight "dish" to the top of the volume knob. They both look really old. Can any of you gents tell me which is the correct knob for a '59 Junior? Also, where's a good place to find the correct replacement? eBay perhaps? Lastly, how much are originals selling for these days?

Many thanks,
Brad

I can't see the detail well enough to be certain. Can you show more angles, including sideways, looking through the top part of the knob?

These knobs sell [roughly] for about $100 each.

the one on the left looks like 60's reflector knob with the reflector removed.

Ive seen a lot of those over the years for sale on eBay, and most sellers ask for the 50s top hat knobs price, WTF! And yes, ebay is the best place to find them and the price is how much your willing to pay for them.

... they go for $75-100 per 50s vintage knob.

Hello gents,

Here's the Volume knob with a little better view:

Here's the Tone knob:

I compared the two to my 56 Custom. I'm 99% sure the Tone knob is original...Same font and shape. The Volume, I'm pretty sure is a replacement of some sort. Looks like I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for another matching knob.

Thanks,
Brad

When I acquired this 59 the original vol pot was gone and only the tone pot, bumblebee and knob were original.
If you look close you can see that one has "yellow" numbers, so that one is the original and the other was a replacement from Gibson.
