Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
This is the current version- it has overgrown a very large Furman deal. I just like the look of the Radial thing- I used to A/B a couple amps but I don't anymore and the boost is very clean but I have become more of a guitar volume knob player. I fooking HATE that old Ibanez tuner- waaaay too latent. Now- here's a tip. The little brown circle is technically not a pedal. It is the switch for the Harmonic Vibrato (feel free to correct me if it is really trem) on a center volume 1960 Fender Pro. Stay with me now. This is the good part. You need one- the brown pedal- but it's really not that effective if it's not connected to the aforementioned 1960 Pro Amp.
So this is what you do- you tell SWMBO that you need a new pedal... you get the rest.
Here's my current board.
|I have it set up so I can go into either of 2 rigs, through the tuner. I can go to the "big rig" going tuner - Soul Food - A/B box which then splits to my Marshall heads on one side and Bedrock combo on the other (that's the |Bedrock right behind the board)
The other side goes through the Tube Screamer etc, and splits to 2 smaller combos (Fender Blues Deluxe and Boogie Rocket 44) through the Memory Man.
Ha the classic argument of is it Tremelo or is it vibrato?
Is it a blue dress or is it a gold dress?
Is it Laurel or Yanni?
Questions left for the ages I suppose.
But I think the trem vs vib question goes all the way back to Mr. Leo F mis-namining his wammy arm a tremelo. He just should have left the name a wammy and gone on with his business.
