Hey everyone,

I recently got my first Murphy aged (and painted) Les Paul and thought I'd share some pics! It's an R0 made for Wildwood, and I absolutely LOVE it. Outstanding craftmanship, feel and tone. Even the fretboard has the perfect color and feel!

Cheers from Germany!

Wow, congrats. Love the burst color, dark board, and overall vibe.

-- Would you also post a close-up pic of the guard label?

Seems relatively recent with the new 'True Historic' banner.

-- What aging level of Murphy was this specified as?

I hope it stays close to this and does advance more, it's wonderful as is. Also the aged case... nice.

Enjoy yourself in 🇩🇪!

Yep, it's a 2018 (Sticker closeup attached). I'm not sure though what aging-level this would compare to, as the Wildwood description didn't specify that...this is what they wrote on their website back then:

The Wildwood Spec by Tom Murphy Les Paul Standards are so much more than meets the eye. We began by hand-selecting premium maple tops and Indian Rosewood fingerboards, and we carefully matched them to give each instrument its own unique visual aesthetic. Then, Tom did the rest with his wizard’s touch. He painted each and every one of these instruments completely by hand, and they also feature his ultra-accurate top carve, hand-stamped hangtags, all-hide glue construction, and reinforced metal jack plates. To complete the package, each of these Les Pauls features our proprietary Wildwood Spec Custombucker pickups, which we believe offer the ultimate vintage PAF sound. These phenomenal instruments have been personally crafted to look and sound as authentic as humanly possible, and we believe this dedication to the details is why they capture the mojo of our favorite vintage Les Pauls with such jaw-dropping precision.

Thanks, got it now... it's actually a used 'True Historic', aged and painted by TM himself. Missed that at first, thought it was a new Murphy Lab.

Enjoy this, it's magnificent.

I am a little confused? I thought 2016 was the last year for the production of the TH's? Gorgeous guitar nonetheless! It looks to be "Light aging" right in between Ultra light and heavy.
I have a heavy aged and there is more overall wear on mine. Mine has the elbow wear and the buckle rash wear on the back.
