• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

This one has it going on. Best P-90 sound I`ve heard. Big belly.
Nioce one!!!
Born in 1952 this definitely is the guitar I'm dreaming of.
Alas, out of my ballpark.
But well, so I turned 70 last month, and my old Lady is telling me
that I 'm starting to get a big belly myself. Have to admit that.

Thank you so much for showing it to me. Nice inlays. I love everything about this run of guitars. I only play standing and I will admit that I had to work my way up to wearing it for a three hour band practice or a four hour gig.

Even at home I play standing about three hours or more per night. I don’t like television except for a few shows I’ll watch to keep my wife company occasionally, you know, to keep the love alive. 😂

Oh yeah, what’s your second serial number? Mine is 0083.

I bought black plastics to replace the cream but I have not done it yet.
The second serial # on mine is 0117. I'm glad I found out more about this guitar, as many things about it just seemed kind of odd. The headstock is at a different angle than any other LP I've ever owned or seen, for example...

I’m not sure, but I have heard that they made 200 of the ones like ours with a second serial number. That’s why I asked for your number. I haven’t heard of one above 200 so far.

It's a 52, I put the ABR1 and Stop Tail on 12 years ago.
Interesting. Are you using a wrap-around bridge as a stop-tail? It also looks like you're bottom wrapping it. Is that because the neck angle is the original from 1952 and needs more string pressure?

I guess you could also drill the back holes out a little larger on the wrap-around and string it like a regular stop-tail, if you don't want the string ends to stick out...
