Hi, folks. I'm wondering what most folks do with their CS guitars after they finish playing in the home. Do you keep them in the case or do you leave them out on stands, or perhaps hanging from wall hangers?
I live in the Boston area where summers are nice but can be (relatively speaking) warm and humid so we run the AC when necessary, and winters can be VERY dry and the heater is a must which makes things dryer. I'm guessing leaving the guitar in the case protects it from extremes of humidity and dryness, although I imagine the guitar would get used to conditions if left out? I don't think there's too much of a variation in our home between cold and heat.
I always keep mine in their cases but I realize that limits my playing time a lot, since I keep the cases out of the way in one of the bedrooms and it takes time to get the guitars out and put them back. I have a couple of very inexpensive guitars lying around the house that get far more play time than any of my nice guitars, which seems a waste.
Thanks in advance!
Jesse
