• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

do you think this amazing Murphy Lab ES-335 color would look good as a Custom ?

what do you guys think of this color as a all mahogany - ebony board - aged Murphy lab custom ?

(I am talking a plain top ..... not a Bengal tiger fancy top )

I've seen similar LP Customs done in a heritage cherry red transparent which faded to a similar color as above. I liked it.
I have on order a M2M '59 355 in ultra light aging in watermelon red.

I would like to see this color pictured above, a bit darker on a LPC as it will fade and the guitar eventually will look brown, the natural color of the mahogany.

The name Pink Panther springs to mind...........tangerine just doesn't carry the same sentiment.
Any colour is permissible and whatever floats your boat.

Maybe if you engraved some cows and cactus into your inlays and branded the body with the gibson G??
