It's too bad the coach has to carry the load. But I guess if the whole season is cancelled, there's no need for a coach. I suppose he should have known about the aberrant behavior anyway. Athletes in sports programs often act much too macho, delinquent, and juvenile. I think it has a lot to do with the magnitude of importance, and the way in which sports is put on a pedestal in U.S. schools. Bring back the importance of academics and put sports where it belongs in the priority line … near the bottom.
