• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Here's a dumb question .... For all of you that play a 335 or similar style guitar, how do you position the toggle switch? Do you like it so it flips straight up and down (North to South) or on a bit of an angle (NE to SW).
Thanks!

What ever works for you would be the best position don't you think. There are no hard set rules for something like this. Your in charge, it's your guitar.

That's true, but I was just curious about the preferences of other players.

Just a tad off perfectly vertical, rotated so rhy is angled toward the neck very slightly :jim

What J.D. said, feels more normal the way it lines up with the natural direction and movement of your hand while playing.
