• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

My two mini humbucker favourites are already on here, Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson. A lot of people associate Robbo with his LP Custom, but he did not start to play that until Live and Dangerous was already recorded and finished as far as I can recall. His Custom was used on the tour to promote Live and Dangerous but for me, he was a mini humbucker man at heart.

When I listen to Dickie Betts play the lead on the studio version of Southbound, it sure sounds like a Les Paul Deluxe with mini-humbuckers to me. Does anyone know if this is true?

Scott Gorham. The first time I watched a video with him playing which I think was the Dublin 75 and I just really like the sound that was coming out and the look was beautiful. So when the deluxe 70s became available I was on the waiting list right away.A55AFD69-0CE1-4F8E-B759-CBF6836BB940.jpeg
