This is the third blackface amp Fender has made a digital reproduction of and the one I am most excited to try.
I have yet to go out and test out a TM amp. When I was younger I would go to my local shop twice a month to see what was new. I just don't need that much anymore, I guess. But, I had a lot of experience with Super Reverbs back in the 70s and 80s so this one has me thinking about visiting a music store sometime soon. Just loved how the originals shimmered and roared. Plug in and play. No other Fender amp sounded like them. For me, they were the best, especially the blackface circuit models. At 35 lbs the TMs are half the weight. Might be tempted to buy a new amp for the first time in several years.
