• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Flametop Friday!!!

Breaze guitars just sold this 60th Anny 59 a few weeks ago. I waited too long. One of the best tops and colors I've seen. If anyone here bought it and ever want to sell it, let me know!! Kicking myself!!!

Happy Friday!!! Just joined LPF here, "figured" I'd put mine up here. This is my totally stock 2001 R8 in Butterscotch. And no, it's not a Custom Authentic or True Historic, that's 20 years of wear. ;-D How do you make the pictures bigger, though?

I remember back when a flamed top LP was a unique item. You rarely saw them, and when you did, it was something special.

It’s Friday!

Here’s mine: Murphy painted and aged, Brazilian board, has Doyle Coils in it currently. “Groverized,” as I found the plastic buttons on the stock tuners had the teeniest click to them from time to time, like they weren’t fully committed to the metal post on which they’re placed. Admittedly it might’ve taken the tiniest amount of harmonic sparkle out, but added some boldness and sustain to the principal and octave+fifth that imho are worth it (aside from tuning precision, smoothness, and reliability).

First time trying to upload a photo, hopefully I get this right...

Edit: how do I make it, not tiny, and fix the orientation? It’s not upside down on my iPad... *shrugs*

Just finished going through the entire Thread, handing out "LIKES" to whatever pictures are still posted.

Well worth the trip!

Beautiful guitars gang!
