• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hey guys, been a while, just letting everyone know that I'm in the process of getting the Mapleflame mod Patented. I had no idea that it would have jumped off as good as it did after "TM1" used that term. It may have been done before, but the term Mapleflame mod refers to me, so why not Capitalize on it. I do come around and look at threads now and then. Hope everyone is healthy and doing great.

Maybe this is answered in another thread, but aren´t the reissue posts allready stainless on newer (2013+) models? And Faber posts and a few other?

There are generic longer ABR screws out there already, but the idea to call the procedure something is cool. Go for it!

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, you cannot patent the name of the process, but only the process itself. However, you can trademark the Mapleflame name.
