• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I signed up on 8 Bomb Customs Patreon page where he has a selection of videos for "makers" that goes into every detail that you need to know. I can happily watch his videos for hours on end.

Watching the video, I would have been happy to stop at the 15-minute mark. I would be too impatient to have to wait for the aniline dyes to fade, but that does look to be the correct way to do things if you want a stunning guitar at the end of the process. If I was in the market for something similar and the choices were an 8 Bomb Custom or a Murphy lab, 8 Bomb would get my money. If you do feel like checking his channel out on Youtube, have a look at his gold top refinishing process. I love how he sprays the guitar green before the gold, perfect for his relicing finishes.
